The intensity of a burning fire in the sky, the relief at dusk, the renewal of each dawn.
Light at the height of summer is strong, can make us wince and give us sunburns. The heat makes tomato plants go dormant, makes us lethargic, can kill us. This same light is essential to us, our sense of wellbeing, and our circadian rhythms. We go to the beach, play ball games, and enjoy BBQs in this light. In the heat of the summer, we sit outside, under a tree, watch the light play on the leaves while we sip cold drinks and doze. What is the light doing in your own midsummer memories, fantasies and dreams? We want to see your experience, your imagination, your vision at work. Show us!
