2305 Dunlavy St.

Do you ever wonder how a juror decides which art submission should be part of a show? Or which writing deserves printing in a literary journal? Or why your piece wasn’t chosen for an exhibit or a reading? Our September meeting will be a panel with both a literary juror, Georgia Pearle from Gulf Coast, U of H’s literary journal, and an art juror-curator, Sally Sprout of Sally Sprout Fine Art. Together, they will let us know the ins and outs of jurying their particular fields. Think about what you need to know for your particular creative field. This will be an informative session followed by Q&A period.

The meeting will be held at Archway Gallery, 2305 Dunlavy, Houston TX 77006.
