Saturday, July 16; 10 am - 1 pm $60 ($50 Jung Center members) Investigate through story the transitions of your life. No matter your age, there are pivotal moments that present you with important choices and require decisions. Expressive writing in a non-threatening atmosphere allows you to mine the unconscious and gain new insights into these moments. Using a series of prompts to inspire you, along with objects from The Jung Center's sandtray collection, you will be invited to write about these choices and how you have navigated the transitions they require.
Sandi Stromberg, MA, is an award-winning poet and magazine feature writer. She has facilitated writing classes at the Jung Center for 17 years and is dedicated to helping people access the stories they have to tell. In the poetry world, she has published in many poetry journals and anthologies, and has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. In the work world, she is manager of external publications at UT MD Anderson Cancer Center, and was named Public Relations Communicator of the Year at the Lone Star Awards in 2010.
