Rosario M. Solis is a mixed-media artist who uses intense and bright texture-filled art. Her love of intense and bright texture fills her art. She loves to observe her surroundings, where the beauty of nature and its kaleidoscope of colors, shapes, and textures are used to create inspired, unique pieces. Years of life experiences have now brought her to a place in life where she is translating these images, ideas, collected travel adventures, and incredible sights into art. After 25+ years working as an educator and now semi-retired, pursuing her love for creating art has become a new goal. Trained in printmaking, Solis has now turned her medium to mixed medium painting, water-colored pencils, pen and ink, to creating jewelry and photography. Rosario Solis works out of a home studio where learning a new way to express herself is the challenge of every day.
